Many couples, after having been together for a number of years, find that they have settled into routines in their lives. In most cases, this may be fine, it’s nice to know what to do and what to expect, but when it comes to your romantic interests, routines can be a detraction rather than an asset.

What you need to do is to break out of your routines and try new things. If you have ever heard of things that you are curious about, now is the time to pull those new ideas out and give them a try.
You and your partner need to keep an open mind and willingness to try new things with open communication and even a sense of humor.
If you can wind yourself up to be really adventuresome, visit an adult toy store and really look at the items they have to offer. Discuss the different items together and try to walk out with at least one new toy to integrate into your next romantic encounter.
Don’t fall into the trap of being embarrassed by the desire to play with these new toys. There is nothing shameful about being playful with your sexuality.
