Reading through Rich Santos’ post, Ingredients to Cook Up Good Sex, made me think of the times when love and emotion really played a part in making sex great. Then, further down the post, I saw this line and had to laugh at the memories that cropped up:
Sometimes when I’m making out with a girl and she makes a weird sound, or if we make a clumsy move together, it sticks in my mind and I want to laugh so bad. But often, I’m so worried about looking stupid, I just hold in my laughter even though I’m dying to crack up. If you can laugh together, make fun of your mistakes, it will take the pressure off and it will become more enjoyable.
Have you ever heard those weird farting sounds from somewhere down there while you’re having hot, filthy sex with your partner one lazy Saturday afternoon? How about the boiiing-like sounds from his tummy when you’re about to go down on him? Talk about sex bloopers! No one farted but it sounded like someone did. However, the sounds definitely came from the wrong orifice, making them difficult to ignore.
It happened a few times but my tactful, considerate partner only commented after the second time we heard that sound. He said “see what happens when you don’t moan when it starts to feel good?”, which was really funny.

OMG wayyyyyyyyyy to funny, yep I can relate, I think the majority of us who are sexually involved with another can say at one time or another that yes, indeed this has happened to the majority of us. Although I can now say this and laugh at one time when I was much younger and with the father of my children when that “weird sound” came from down there, I was sooooooooo embarrassed!!! OMG let me say it again, I was soooooooo EMBARRASSED!!!!! I thought at that time I was the only person in the world that, that happened too, it was probably just as embarrassing to him as it was to me, anyhow to make a long story short I personally think it is embarrassing if you either with a person for the first time, however as time goes on such as my husband and I have been married for 9 years, I don’t think there’s much that could cause us to get embarrassed with one another anymore,,,, now it’s just plain pleasure and laughter all in one if that “weird sound” happens. LOL!!!
That is too funny! I’ll give your partner bonus points for the comic relief. At least they are cool enough to understand that the body does what it does sometimes. I’ve learned to avoid certain foods before dates though, such as legumes and broccoli.
I get so embarrassed about this when I’m with someone new. You never how how their reaction is going to be. Hopefully, they will understand. But if they don’t, you end up feeling like such a dummy.
